NaNoWriMo Winner!

I can't believe I won National Novel Writing Month!  I am actually not done my novel, but I reached the goal of 50,000 words and I was pretty much in a state of shock.   I have tried to reach the goal for two years, so I guess what they say is true. The third time is the charm!

I think I will finish the novel on my own time in December without a due date looming over my head. I am just so thankful to have reached my goal and it feels good to accomplish something I never thought I would be able to.

It just goes to show you, if it's important to you, you'll do it. If it isn't, you'll find an excuse.

Thank you to all my friends who were cheering me on!

  6. That's amazing! I dream about writing in the way that kids dream of becoming astronauts. I would love to do it, but I don't have the drive or dedication that it takes. Maybe next semester when I'm an unemployed teacher. Lol. Again, CONGRATULATIONS! That is truly an accomplishment to be proud of. I can't wait to read it!!

    1. It took me a few years and more than a few tries to even write that much, so I definitely think it's a process. Thank you so much and thanks for dropping by, Natalie!
