I can't believe I won National Novel Writing Month! I am actually not done my novel, but I reached the goal of 50,000 words and I was pretty much in a state of shock. I have tried to reach the goal for two years, so I guess what they say is true. The third time is the charm!
I think I will finish the novel on my own time in December without a due date looming over my head. I am just so thankful to have reached my goal and it feels good to accomplish something I never thought I would be able to.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Christina! :)
DeleteYay! So proud of you, Christina! That's amazing! Next year I will be so organized for NaNo, I swear! I will do better! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Leanna! At least you won last year--it's soooo much work!
DeleteThat's amazing! I dream about writing in the way that kids dream of becoming astronauts. I would love to do it, but I don't have the drive or dedication that it takes. Maybe next semester when I'm an unemployed teacher. Lol. Again, CONGRATULATIONS! That is truly an accomplishment to be proud of. I can't wait to read it!!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a few years and more than a few tries to even write that much, so I definitely think it's a process. Thank you so much and thanks for dropping by, Natalie!
