Top Ten Tuesday: Most Anticipated Releases for First Half of 2020

There are some fantastic reads coming out this year and it's always so hard to showcase them all.  I, somehow, narrowed down my top ten books that I am looking forward to reading. For today's post, I am only focusing on books with publication dates from January-June 2020.

1.  The Map From Here to There by Emery Lord
A new Emery Lord novel! Woo hoo! I think Lord writes some of the most compelling YA novels out there. For me, she's right up there with Sarah Dessen.

2.  The Girl in White Gloves by Kerri Maher
I love all things Grace Kelly, so this novel has caught my eye. I really enjoyed Maher's last novel all about Kick Kennedy, JFK's sister.

3.  In Five Years by Rebecca Serle
There's been a lot of buzz about this novel and who can resist a good romance?

4.  And They Called It Camelot by Stephanie Marie Thornton
I am a big fan of the Kennedys, so this one is a must-read for me.

5.  The Betrothed by Kiera Cass
It's been awhile since I last read a Cass novel (The Selection series) and this one sounds like it's filled with a lot of royal romance and court intrigue. I love that her novels are fun, addicting, and the perfect escape.

6.  Beach Read by Emily Henry
If you met me, you know that this summertime read can't be missed.

7.  Feels Like Falling by Kristy Woodson Harvey
Harvey has become one of my favorite authors of Southern fiction; I can't wait to read her latest, especially since her Peachtree Bluff series has come to an end.

8.  The Last Train to Key West by Chanel Cleeton
I really enjoyed Cleeton's last novel and I love the setting of Key West, so I definitely will be throwing this book in my beach bag this year. Also, how fantastic are Cleeton's covers? I adore each one!

9.  The Heir Affair by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan
I just about fell over when I heard there was going to be a sequel to The Royal We, which is one of my all-time favorite books! Who else is excited?

10.  Her Last Flight by Beatriz Williams
I'll read anything Williams writes and I love that this book is about a lost pilot and a wartime photographer -- seems a bit different for Williams and I am interested to see what it's all about.

What do you hope to read for the first half of 2020? Are any of these books on your list? Let me know in the comments.  This meme is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

    1. I know, right? I still haven't read The Glass Ocean! It's hard to keep up. She has become like Elin Hilderbrand of historical fiction! Thanks for visiting, Angela.

  6. And They Called It Camelot and The Girl in the White Gloves are two I'm really looking forward to as well! I also recently discovered Her Last Flight as well and am so excited for it, Williams is so great at historical fiction.
