Stacking the Shelves (62)

Book Review: As Bright as Heaven by Susan Meissner

This coming week I'll be sharing my thoughts on The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah, which was so darn entertaining. I really, really liked it and the wild setting of Alaska, but I didn't love it as much as The Nightingale.  I'll also be hosting a giveaway this week, so keep your eye out for it!

Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi -  Thanks to Simon Teen
The Final Six by Alexandra Monir - Thanks to HarperTeen

Furyborn by Claire Legrand - Thanks to Sourcebooks Fire and Netgalley
August and Everything After by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski - Thanks to Sourcebooks Fire and NetGalley

Every Time You Go Away by Beth Harbison - Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martins

Have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR list? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for visiting! This meme is hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

  1. The Final Six sounds good - for some reason, I've been into books set in space lately!

    1. I have had a hard time with sci-fi books lately, but I have enjoyed Monir's books in the past so I have high hopes. Thanks for visiting, Angela!

  3. I look forward to your review of The Great Alone. I really liked it though like you I felt it wasn't as good as The Nightingale.

August and Everything After sounds pretty good. I am also intrigued by Every Time You Go Away though the ghost aspect doesn't appeal to me as much. Hopefully it will be as funny as the blurb promises!

    1. Yes, me too! I really enjoyed it, but it didn't pack a powerful punch like the Nightingale did. I hope Every Time You Go is good -- looking for a light beach read! *fingers crossed* Thank for visiting, Christina!
