  5. The Lake Effect is on my TBR, and I'm kinda looking forward to it since it's set in Michigan I guess. and Hello Sunshine has me curious because I really liked her other book Eight Hundred Grapes. Looking forward to your thoughts on both.

  6. Gah! It's been a while for me as well. Sorry I've been MIA but I'm hoping to get back into the thick of things. Looking forward to reading Lake Effect. I saw your post on Instagram so I'm instantly curious!

  7. I just finished Cafe By the Sea and look forward to hearing what you think of it. I started Hello, Sunshine last night and so far I'm not sure I like it. It is not enjoyable for me to read about characters that lie like that. I suppose eventually Sunshine will learn from her mistakes but right now I want to smack her. And her sister. :)

I loved your review of The Lake Effect and Kiss Carlo is on my TBR list. Hopefully I'll get my copy from the library soon. I ended up not reading The Scribe of Siena. I just didn't have the patience for it. Instead I read some other time travel books (A Murder in Time, A Twist in Time).

Hope you are having a great week!

    1. I started it last night and so far it's really cute. Yes, Hello, Sunshine takes some time to get into. I am glad I read it and liked it way more than I thought i would. She really is a despicable character, but it gets better, I promise! Yes, The Scribe of Siena took me awhile to get into as well, but that book also picks up if you stick with it. I definitely almost put it down a few times! I will have to check out your other time travel recommendations! Thanks for visiting!
