Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree

Here's my bookish wish list for this holiday season. Maybe some of these books will be under the Christmas tree for me this year!

1.  What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen - It's one of the few Dessen novels I haven't read!
2.  Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas - I am looking forward to continuing with this series.
3.  Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarity - I have never read anything by Moriarity and really want to.  Plus, I want to read it before the HBO show comes out next year!
4.  The Matchmaker by Elin Hilderbrand - It's never too early to start thinking about next summer's beach reads!
5.  Downton Abbey: A Celebration by Jessica Fellowes and Julian Fellowes - This seems like an excellent coffee table book for fans of the show.
6.  The Next Together by Lauren James - I love the premise of this book and I believe it has only been published in the UK, so maybe Santa can hook me up!
7.  Edgewater by Courtney Sheinmel - I love the Grey Gardens vibe to this one!
8.  Cress by Marissa Meyer - I can't wait to continue with this series--absolutely loved Cinder and am looking forward to Scarlet.
9.  The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon - I am slowly making my way through this series. Key word: slowly.
10.  A gift card - I could always use a gift card to my local bookstore!

So, what books are you hoping to receive this holiday season? Let me know! This meme is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish

  1. I absolutely loved What Happened to Goodbye! Of course, I love Sarah Dessen, but I think WHtG is one of her better novels. I hope you get that one (and the rest of the books on your list) under your tree!

  3. Great list!! I've loved all of Dessen's books that I have read so far, but I still have to get to What Happened to Goodbye. Sarah Maas is one of the authors I hope to get to next year for my New-To-Me challenge. The Downton Abbey book looks awesome. I have been playing catch up with that series and love it!! I'm trying to get through season 5 before the final season starts in January. I hope Santa delivers some of these for you to enjoy. Happy Holiday!!

  4. Christina, these all look like GREAT choices! Having already read Big Little Lies and The Matchmaker, I can highly recommend those; I can't believe there's a Sarah Dessen novel that you HAVEN'T read - ha! I hope you get all these and more under the tree; I'm hoping for some coloring books and colored pencils, but ALL books are welcome! :)

    1. I have read many Elin Hildebrand novels, but I definitely want to read The Matchmaker and The Rumor....two that seem perfect for the summer! Are you going to do some adult coloring? I hear it's very therapeutic...seems fun! Thanks for visiting, Tara!

  6. I just got the Downton Abbey book from the library but left it at my desk so I can't look at it during my vacation unfortunately. It does contain spoilers for season 6 however.

I love the Lunar Chronicles so I hope you get those books for Christmas and a gift card to a bookstore is the perfect gift :)

Merry Christmas! Hope you find some of these under your tree!
