What I'm Reading Next: My October TBR

How is it already October? I don't know about you, but September flew by! We got a new puppy, Kira, so our family has been very busy with her and all the fun that comes with a new puppy. Plus, add in all the fall sports and activities and you've got yourself a busy September. But now it's officially spooky season. What books do you hope to read this month?

1.  The Witches of Bone Hill by Ava Morgyn

A romance about two women who discover they are Nordic witches.

2.  A Dawn of Onyx by Kate Golden

This book is the start to a new fantasy romance series.

3.  The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young

Now is the perfect time to read a story filled with magical realism.

4.  Family Lore by Elizabeth Acevedo

I didn't get around to reading this one during the summer, but I think October is a great time to read a family drama filled with elements of magical realism.

5.  The London Seance Society by Sarah Penner

I really enjoyed Penner's The Lost Apothecary and am currently reading this historical mystery with a ton of spooky atmosphere.

6.  I Loved You in Another Life by David Arnold

It's been awhile since I read a YA romance!

7.  Starling House by Alix E. Harrow

A gothic tale about a small town that seems extremely spooky? Yes, please!

What do you think of my October TBR list? Share what books you plan to read this month in the comments below.

  1. I am so looking forward to June Farrow! I hope we love it.

  2. I've been seeing Starling House around a lot! I think Reese just chose it for her book club. Enjoy your spooky picks!

    1. I saw that! And I think it's a Book of the Month pick, too! Thanks for visiting!

I really appreciate your comments. Thank you!
