What I'm Reading Next (53)

I wish I could say January flew by, but at times it felt really slow. Am I right? I am happy to see February and hopefully before we know it, it will be spring.  I plan on curling up with these books this month:

1.  The Christie Affair by Nina de Gramont

This one is inspired by when Agatha Christie mysteriously disappeared for a few days. It's one of the greatest unsolved mysteries. I actually don't have much prior knowledge about it, but I am excited to learn more.

2.  The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post by Alison Pataki

I have always enjoyed Pataki's novels, so I am looking forward to checking this one out, which is based on the real-life Marjorie Post, the American businesswoman, socialite, and philanthropist.

3.  The Secret Love Letters of Olivia Moretti by Jennifer Probst

Three estranged sisters head to the Amalfi coast to learn more about their mother's past. You had me at Amalfi Coast.

4.  One Night on the Island by Josie Silver

I really enjoyed One Day in December, so I have high hopes for this one. It's all about Cleo, who goes on a vacation (mostly because her boss is urging her) to a remote Irish island with the hopes of recharging.

5.  The Last Grand Duchess by Bryn Turnbull

This story is set in Imperial Russia and told through the eyes of Olga Romanov, the first daughter of the last Tsar.

6.  The Next Ship Home by Heather Webb

This is a novel about Ellis Island, two women's experiences and the American Dream.

7.  The Last Duke Standing by Julia London

I have actually never read Julia London (shocking, I know!), so I am excited to check this one out. I do enjoy a good historical romance from time to time and this is a start of a new series.

So, what books do you hope to read this month? Are any of these books on your TBR list? Let me know in the comments.
