November & December Top Five:

1. Favorite Book The Midnight Library is definitely my favorite of both months. It is such a good read that really made me think, too!

2.  Biggest Surprise: The Awakening was a bit of a surprise for me, because I didn't expect it to have so many fantasy elements. It also read like a young adult novel at times. This didn't bother me, but it was unexpected, especially since it's written by Nora Roberts.

3.  Biggest Disappointment: The Lying Life of Adults was beautifully written, but I didn't love it as much as My Brilliant Friend.
4.  Favorite Post: If You Like the Kennedys

5.  Favorite Part of November and December: I had a much slower holiday, just like many other people. It was a nice change to relax a bit more and take a step back from the usual holiday fanfare. I love watching the holiday magic unfold through my sons' eyes.
I hope everyone had a nice holiday and is ready to start a new year.  Let me know your favorite book of the month in the comments below.

  1. I also really enjoyed the holiday time! I got time to relax and get my energy levels back up ^^

I wish you all the best for 2021, in your personal life and bookwise! ^^

  2. For me, Christmas day was nuts because I had cooking to do and toys to assemble, but I loved the slower pace of the other days. I actually got some sleep during the holidays! Happy 2021!

Aj @ Read All The Things!

    1. That's nice! Sleep is much needed around here. Thanks for visiting and Happy 2021!

  3. Even though the circumstances causing it weren't great, it was nice to have a year/holidays where everything could slow down for a minute. It definitely made me reflect on the things that are most important.

    1. I agree. It was definitely a much needed change of pace. Thanks for visiting, Angela.

  4. Happy New Year, Christina! It's been a long while. :( Hoping to get back into the swing of things this year and see what I've missed. Probably a whole lot. Lol.

Anyway, I hope to finish Midnight Library sometime next week. I've heard many a great things about that book. :D

    Happy reading!
