I'll be sharing my thoughts on Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner, which felt like two different books at times. The plot twist took me by surprise! I am also sharing my thoughts on On Ocean Boulevard by Mary Alice Monroe, which I really enjoyed. I appreciate Monroe's descriptions of nature and the coastal setting. I think both are decent beach reads, so more on them this coming week!

I keep hearing about this big twist in Big Summer - I don't think I'll read the book, but I kind of want to go looking for spoiler-y reviews so I can find out what it is!

DeleteJennifer Weiner was one of my favorites in my 20s. I have to admit that I own her latest few (along with her oldies) but haven't read any of them, including this latest. Slingshot looks adorable. Happy reading!

DeleteI didn't know Anna Godbersen still writes. I think I read her Luxe series waaaay back then and kind of like it? (I can't remember much now). The Invisible Woman looks interesting. I might have to check that out.
