What I'm Reading Next (24)

I have so many beach reads that I haven't gotten to yet--slow down, summer!  Here are the books I am adding to my overflowing pile for the month of August.

The Chelsea Girls by Fiona Davis

I finally read a Fiona Davis novel this past year (The Address) and I am excited to check out her latest set in 1950s New York at the Chelsea Hotel.

Life and Other Inconveniences by Kristan Higgins

This one features a multi-generational relationship between a grandmother and her granddaughter. I absolutely love books that feature grandparents and I have somehow only read one of Higgins' novels (If You Only Knew), so I am looking forward to this one. Are you a fan of Kristan Higgins?

Start Here by Trish Doller

I love a good YA read, especially if it deals with a road trip.  Plus, did I mention the road trip is a actually a sailing trip to the Keys? Yes, please!

Tidelands by Philippa Gregory

I am a huge Gregory fan, so this is an auto-buy for me. I am happy she has deviated away from her Cousins' War series and the Tudors to explore England in 1648.  Are you a fan of Gregory?

Have you read any of these books? What do you plan to read this month? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

  1. I love Gregory but haven't been keeping up with her books in recent years. I want to read The Chelsea Girls soon, though!

    1. Thanks, Michele! I am glad you agree. I am trying to keep my list small this month, so hopefully I can get to some beach reads I didn't get to this summer. *fingers crossed* Thanks for visiting.
