Stacking the Shelves (89)

Book Review: The Au Pair by Emma Rous

I was hoping to share my thoughts on The Light Over London last week, but I didn't get around to posting my review. It is a great historical read, especially if you enjoy your history with a strong side of romance.

I also hope to post my review of An Anonymous Girl, which I feel like is one of the most talked about books for early 2019.  Let's just say that I thought it was a decent read, but it didn't "wow" me like The Wife Between Us

No Place Like Here by Christina June - Thanks to Blink YA
Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard - Thanks to Tor Teen

Have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR list? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for visiting! This meme is hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

  1. I started reading An Anonymous Girl a few weeks back, but it just didn't grab me like I was hoping. I love the cover for Bloodwitch (and really the whole series) and feel SO bad for that poor author. Do you follow her on IG? She posted such a heartbreaking post about losing her baby a couple of days ago.

    1. Yeah, AG took me awhile to get into and it I didn't like it was much as their first novel. I was disappointed. I heard about Susan Dennard on Instagram. So sad. :( I do feel for her. Thanks for visiting, Natalie!

  2. I have Truthwitch and have always wanted to read it. I see new books in the series and think oh I need to fit it into my schedule. Anne - Books of My Heart
