  13. I also loved a lot of these books - especially the contemps! Out of the contemps you've picked my favourite was Saint Anything! I read a lot of great thrillers this year, and if you loved The Girl on the Train then I highly recommend I Let You Go and The Kind Worth Killing. Both great thrillers with great twists!

  14. Did you watch the "Poldark" series on PBS? I loved it! I didn't even realize it was based on a book series until I'd watched a few episodes. I'm glad to see you liked the first book -- maybe I'll look into it! As for the rest of your picks, "The Girl on the Train" made my list too. And I still need to read "The Nightingale" and "The Luckiest Girl Alive." One of these days!
