  1. I am just about to start reading Vanishing Girls - I've seen some mixed reviews already and I haven't totally loved any of the Lauren Oliver books I've read so I'm hoping this one works for me!

  8. I haven't heard of At The Water's Edge before, but I am really intrigued by the cover so I'll have to check it out! Congrats on getting so many good books this week. Code Name Verity is a book I definitely have to get soon. I am a sucker for Historical Fiction so I'm not really sure why I haven't read it yet. Happy reading. :)

  10. So I ended up really enjoying Vanishing Girls during the last quarter of the book or so. I wasn't expecting that ending...although maybe I should have? I STILL haven't read Code Name Verity even though I have a ton of friends who have sworn by it. I debated snagging the newest Jane Green, but decided waiting until I saw a couple of reviews. I just haven't loved her last few books the way I did the ones I read in my early 20s. I hope you love all your new reads!

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed it….I was definitely entertained, but it wasn't my favorite. I am dying to read Code Name…so excited to have won it…hopefully I can check it out soon. I liked Jane Green's Tempting Fate (a fun summertime/beach read) so I am looking forward to trying out another one of her books. I'll let you know what I think. Thanks for visiting, Natalie!

  11. I've heard of Vendetta but I don't remember where from. I love that cover and the summary sounds even more interesting!

I don't know if I want to read Vanishing Girls because I have a love/hate relatnioship with Oliver [her writing is beautiful, her plotting not so much] Oh well, we will see!
