Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing Me

This week the topic is "Books That We Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing" and as always, I have a very lengthly TBR list.  Here are some of the books I'd love to see under my Christmas tree. (This meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, so check it out!)

1. Evertrue (Everneath #3) by Brodi Ashton - Ok, so I really can't expect Santa to bring me this, but he could pre-order this one for me! :)

2. Overseas by Beatriz Williams - I fell in love with Williams' A Hundred Summers, so I am dying to read more of her in the future and this book sounds promising.

3. The Caged Graves by Dianne Salerni - I have been dying to read this book, because Dianne is a local author and the story takes place in Catawissa, PA, which isn't far from where I went to college.

4. Timekeeper (Timeless #2) by Alexandra Monir - I loved Timeless and have been meaning to continue with the series.

5. Star Cursed (Cahill Witch Chronicles #2) by Jessica Spotswood - This is a series that I'd like to continue with in 2014, especially since I enjoyed the first book.

6. Rapture (Fallen #4) by Lauren Kate - I NEED to finish this series. What am I waiting for?

7. The Golden Lily (Bloodlines #2) by Richelle Mead - Although I really didn't like book one as much as her Vampire Academy series, I am still interested in this novel.

8. Finale (Hush, Hush #4) by Becca Fitzpatrick - I need to finish this series as well.

9. Just Listen by Sarah Dessen - This is one of the two novels by Dessen that I haven't read and I hear this one is great!

10. Sweet Peril (Sweet Trilogy) by Wendy Higgins - I really enjoyed Sweet Evil, so I am looking forward to this one.

What do you think of my list? Let me know and Happy Holidays!

  1. I so hope you get Sweet Peril Christina! I loved that one just as much as book one even though Kaidan was largely absent for much of first half. It made it all the more intense when he came back into the picture:) I really want to read the Cahill With Chronicles, that's a series I've been meaning to read for a while. *sigh* So many good books out there!

Hope some of these find their way to you tomorrow!

  2. Just Listen is the first Sarah Dessen novel I read and I loved it. Of course I really like the Bloodlines series too and hopefully you will like The Golden Lily more than Bloodlines.

If Santa could bring us pre-orders, I'd wish for Cress by Marissa Meyer, The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan, and Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead. Those last two won't be out till summer and fall so maybe I'll get those for my birthday :) As far as books already out, I'd love to receive Me Before You by Jojo Moyes.

    1. I really need to read both books, especially since I know you like them! I really want to read the Cinder series in 2014 and I've heard great things about Me Before You. I hope you have a great Christmas, Christina, and thanks for dropping by!

  4. I NEED to finish the Fallen series too. Honestly, I don't know why I haven't gotten to it yet. I also really need to catch up on the Bloodlines series - I didn't fall in love with the first book, but VA got better for me as the series went along, and I have a feeling this series might be the same. P.S: Santa is all kinds of magic, so he could possibly gift you Evertrue - but only if you've been very good this year! ;)

    1. Me too. I didn't fall in love with Bloodlines either, which is probably why I have put it off, but you are right…Mead usually brings it with the later books in the series. Thanks for visiting, Leanna, and I hope you have a great holiday!

  7. Rapture was my favorite book in that series by far. It really tied everything together. I have read a few of Sarah Dessen's books, but I haven't read that one yet.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday and hopefully Santa brought at least a few of the books you were hoping for.
