September at the Shore

Cape May Lighthouse
I'm heading bright and early to the shore to escape for a long weekend. It's Baby D's second time at the beach and we are especially looking forward to it, because the shore in September is great. There are smaller crowds, the ocean is still warm, and there's less humidity. It's one of my favorite times at the shore.  I usually don't get to go down too often in September, but since I am on maternity leave, I am taking advantage of it.

I'll be finishing up Hemingway's Girl by Erika Robuck, which I am really enjoying....although it is making me crave Key Lime Pie and a night out on Duval Street.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!
