My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Goodreads says, "Welcome to Los Angeles, birthplace and residence of Tori Spelling. It’s not every Hollywood starlet whose name greets you on a Virgin Airways flight into la-la land. But Tori Spelling has come to accept that her life is a spectacle. Her name is her brand, and business is booming. Too bad when your job is to be yourself, you can’t exactly take a break. Tori finally has everything she thought she wanted—a loving family and a successful career—but trying to live a normal life in Hollywood is a little weird. With the irresistible wit, attitude, and humor that fans have come to love, theNew York Times bestselling author of sTORI telling and Mommywood is back with more hilarious, heartwarming, and candid stories of juggling work, marriage, motherhood, and reality television cameras. Tori comes clean about doing her time on jury duty, stalking herself on Twitter, discovering her former 90210 castmates’ "I Hate Tori" club, contracting swine flu, and contacting Farrah Fawcett from the dead. Like many mothers, she struggles to find balance (Stars, they’re just like us!)—only most women don’t have to battle it out with paparazzi at the grocery store."

I felt like sTori Telling and Mommywood were perfect for some mind candy, so when I borrowed Uncharted teriTORI from a friend, I knew I was in for another quick and leisurely read.  Uncharted TeriTORI picks up where Mommywood leaves off and once again readers find Tori struggling to balance work, family, and her relationships.  She is dealing with turning her brand into a business while also trying to raise her kids in the limelight.  Of course there's more of Tori's laugh out loud moments that any person can relate to and fun juicy details about her life.  Just as with Mommywood, if you are a fan of Tori's reality television show, you will enjoy Uncharted TeriTORI and another peek into Tori Spelling's busy life.

There's a lot in Uncharted TeriTORI about Tori's struggle to balance work and family. She finds herself sick and hospitalized in many parts of this book, which surprised me. I knew Tori was a workaholic, but I didn't know she was so often ill.  Tori once again shares moments of parenting that had me laughing out loud (such as Liam's various play dates) and other times I felt bad for her as the other parents at Liam's school really judge her.  Tori just wants to fit in and find her place.

There's more information about Tori's relationship with her mom, Candy Spelling. At this point in Uncharted teriTORI they are trying to repair their relationship and Tori attends her mother's fancy Christmas party along with all of her kids.  Also, there's some up and down moments with Dean and details about her former 90210 cast mates, which I found particularly interesting.  I had no idea that she didn't really keep in touch with any of them, other than Jennie Garth, and they all seem to not talk to Tori.

If you want another fun and mindless read, which would be perfect on a summer day lounging by the pool, you must pick up Tori's books, especially if you are a fan.  I hope she writes more, because I hear that she is pregnant with her fourth child right after giving birth to Hattie!  Now that is going to make for a great read and another great adventure.

Have you heard about her new book on party ideas? She was on The Rachael Ray show the other day promoting it and it sounds really good.
