Desires of the Dead

Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting
Pub. Date: February 15, 2011
A BIG thank you to HarperCollins for providing me with this ARC

Goodreads says, "The missing dead call to Violet. They want to be found.  When Violet Ambrose's morbid ability to sense the echoes of those who've been murdered leads her to the body of a young boy, she draws the attention of the FBI. She is reluctantly pulled into an investigation that will endanger more than just her secret...but her relationship and possibly her life as well."
My thoughts: I am not going to post a full review yet, but I had to share a few thoughts about this engaging sequel to The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting.  Lets just say......it was everything I had hoped for. There were some paranormal elements, some criminal elements, suspense, mystery, and of course romance. Fans of Jay won't be disappointed; he is just as irresistibly cute in Desires of the Dead as he was in The Body Finder

I know a lot of you were waiting on my opinion of this one and I want to wait until it gets closer for a full review, but if you are a fan of The Body Finder and haven't pre-ordered Desires of the Dead yet, you will definitely want to.  I'll be giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars; it was extremely entertaining!  Keep your eye out for my review later on this month.

  6. YAY! I'm almost done with The Body Finder and am really enjoying it, so I'm glad to know you enjoyed book 2 as well. I always worry when I like the first book that the second one won't live up to it:)
