October Confessions

Autumn in Chicago- 11/09
October is always such a fun month.  The weather and leaves start to change; it's truly a beautiful time.  But one of my favorite things about October is the return of pumpkin everything.  Pumpkin lattes, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin bread, pumpkin butter, pumpkin coffee creamer, and even pumpkin beer. I love all things pumpkin. It's an obsession!

I can't believe it's November- where has the time gone? Pretty soon before we know it, it will be Thanksgiving and then on to my favorite holiday, Christmas.  In fact, I heard Christmas music today on the Verizon's TV/Radio.  Yikes! It seems to be starting earlier and earlier each year.  As I say goodbye to October, I wish everyone a fabulous November and I look forward to all that it brings, including NaNoWriMo.  Lets hope I can do it!

Books Read This Month:
1.  Twilight of Avalon by Anna Elliott
2.  Annexed by Sharon Dogar
3.  Falling In by Frances O'Roark Dowell
4.  Immortal Beloved by Cate Tiernan
5.  The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe (Classroom Book Review)
6.  Dark Moon of Avalon by Anna Elliott
7.  Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
8.  Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen

October Top Five:
1.  Favorite Book:   Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

2.  Biggest Surprise:   Twilight of Avalon by Anna Elliott

3.  Biggest Letdown:  Immortal Beloved by Cate Tiernan (I enjoyed it, but it didn't blow my mind.)

4.  Favorite PostNaNoWriMo!

5.  Favorite Part of October: Enjoying all things pumpkin and the lovely fall weather
