Teaser Tuesday #28

This is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

  • Grab your read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title and the author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers.

Brava, Valentine by Adriana Trigiani

"Face it, Valentine, I say to myself.  He's probably found someone new.  Probably some shoe designer from Russia with long legs, high cheekbones, and bangs that lie flat."  (page 171)

*I'm a huge fan of Adriana Trigiani. She portrays Italian families like no other. I loved Very Valentine and so far, Brava, Valentine hasn't disappointed!

  1. Nice teaser. It does looks like a fun book. :)

  2. I love it! My bangs don't lie flat either...unless forces and even then it doesn't last too long!

  8. LOL
    I love it.
It really helps me understand her cynicism.

Thanks for passing by my TT :)

  9. Great teaser! I want to read this one. My teaser is at The Crowded Leaf.

  10. Nice teaser! I have flyaway bangs, too --- so I totally understand about that little wish. :)

  11. Your teaser has reminded me that I have Viola in Reel Life on my TBR. I really want to read it soon.

Enjoy your book. Mine's from Raider's Ransom by Emily Diamand.

I really appreciate your comments. Thank you!
