I'm Back!

Slowly Recovering

Well, I am back from my Spring Break trip to Ireland!  Thanks for all the comments while I was gone. Ireland is an amazing place and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait to post some of my pictures and share some funny stories.  However, on the last night I contracted food poisoning from either salmon or shellfish.  To make a long story short, I had to fly internationally for seven hours while sick.  Thank God for my husband and good friends, because I am not sure I would survived.  Seriously.   If you have had food poisoning, you know what I am talking about.  I am just now finally able to eat a bit and am getting my energy back thanks the medicine my doctor prescribed. Lets just say this wasn't the weight loss program I had been hoping for this spring. :)

While I was gone, I missed Kris at Voracious YAppetite's blog posts about Women in YA.  You can check out one of the posts here.  Be sure to read the whole thing; it's a fabulous idea. I am extremely honored that she asked for my opinion and allowed me to be a part of such an amazing tribute.  It's also quite interesting to read what other bloggers have to say about Women in YA.  Thanks again, Kris! You are awesome and if you aren't a follower of her blog yet, you definitely need to! Her blog is informative, organized and her reviews are fantastic.

Also, when I got back from my trip, I noticed my blogger buddy and book twin, Becky at The Bookette, wrote a compelling review of Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkelses.  Can we say...WOW?!  I am definitely ordering this from Amazon ASAP.  You need to check out her review--it's simply fantastic.

Keep an eye out this week for two reviews, some memes, and hopefully an entry all about Ireland....minus the food poisoning fiasco.  Thanks again for all the birthday wishes and kind thoughts while I was gone.  I look forward to catching up with everyone.
