There are many movies coming out which are based on great books. I'm going to showcase a few that I'm excited about.
Dear John by Nicholas Sparks- It came out yesterday!
Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightening Thief by Rick Riordan
It comes out February 12th.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney- It comes out March 19th.
My students LOVED this book and this trailer is hysterical!
The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks- It comes out March 31st.
Even though Miley Cyrus (insert my disgust here) is in this movie,
I still think it looks good. I mean who doesn't love Sparks?!
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll- it comes out March 5th.
Other movies coming out that don't have official trailers yet:
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I by J.K. Rowling.
It comes out in November.
-Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S.
Lewis. It comes out in December
-Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer- it comes out June 30th.
-Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert- It comes out in August.

I think I'm the most excited about the movie Beastly which is based on the book by Alex Flinn. It looks really good.
